  I've been sober for 7 months now and it has been the best 7 months of my life. I remember the day that I was processed into this detox treatment facility, I was lost, vulnerable and hopeless. The actual process of detoxification was hell and by far the worse thing I've ever gone through but it forced me to take my approach to sobriety more seriously because I didn't have a head full of drugs convincing me that I needed more drugs. I was able to build a solid support network of peers who have gone through the same life experiences. It's that support that gives me the strength to live a sober life.
